TV compatibility

Most TV stands will specify up to what size TV they can accommodate, as well as a weight limit for the top of the stand. To understand television size, it’s important to know your measurements.  The size of a screen is usually indicated by its diagonal measurement (the distance from the left top corner to the right bottom corner, or vice versa).  However, there’s often a slight discrepancy between a TV’s advertised size and the screen’s actual viewing size.  That’s because a small portion of the screen panel is taken up by the frame.  Here are some examples of screen size versus viewing panel size.
