If faces near the centre of your OLED TV have a green hue this is due to the red pixels there having darkened simply through use over time.

OLED TV green face from red pixel wear

Don’t bother running the many colour changing patterns on YouTube to fix this. It won’t. Try to progress a warranty repair however if that fails or while it is progressing you can change 3 picture settings in under a minute to improve the picture appearance considerably.

Change colour temperature to cool, increase colour and reduce tint (the balance of green to red). I show this on my Panasonic TX-55EZ952B in this #short video.

HELP- green spot in middle of LG OLED

Well i've contacted Richer Sounds, and it looks like i have to jump through some hoops before they will help.
I have to run the pixel refresher TEN TIMES!!! WTF??? Do they now just make it up as they go along? Even LG only require you only to run it five times before sending a technician.
This is NOT image retention, so running the refresher will not fix it. If anything, it will destroy/wear the panel. This is fine if they then replace the panel, if not, then they have harmed my TV.

I have better thing to do than waste 10 hours of my life running this thing all week.
I then have to take pictures of actual "real time" content. It has to be with natural lighting, and varied images. What is the point of this? How does sending them content that hides the issue any use other than for them to reject the repair because they cannot see it?
My pictures of a yellow or purple test image show they problem clearly.
Remember, this isn't to get them to change the panel, this is to get them to send somebody out to have a look.

If anybody from Richer Sounds is reading this:
I have a 6 year warranty. I'm reporting a fault. You don't want me to bring the TV back to store because it is over 39".
I'm not here to conduct YOUR tests. I shouldn't have to spend a week conducting these tests.
I shouldn't have to take a load of pictures and email them to you. The TV is faulty. Send somebody out to bloody test it. Even once somebody comes out, i will then have to wait for another visit to change the panel.
I feel i'm being grabbed by the bollocks and have to play along with this charade otherwise you won't fix my TV. I felt there was no point arguing with the guy on the phone, so have agreed to do these long winded procedures (waste of my time).

My TV has most of the OLED quirks like slight yellow/blue staining, some slight vertical banding. Yet i didn't go through multiple panels to try and find the perfect one. I just watched normal content and it rarely showed any problems. But this issue is in real content. It is a fault that wasn't there even two months ago.
Costco are getting my business next time. No messing about with them.

Regarding this, why does my TV have a green tint?

HINT: The most common reason for a Green Screen on a TV is a loose or damaged cable connection of a media component to or from the TV. Check to be sure the cables that carry the video signal to your TV from your SAT box, CABLE box, DVD player, ROKU player, etc are secure and not damaged.

One may also ask, how do I fix the color on my TV? To recalibrate the color, go to your TV's settings menu and desaturate the color setting until the TV displays in black and white. Adjust contrast so that whites and blacks are distinct, and adjust brightness so that blacks are deep and dark rather than gray.

In respect to this, how do I fix the green tint on my Samsung TV?

In order to access your television's tint:

  1. Press the “MENU” button on your remote control to open the menu.
  2. From the video menu highlight PICTURE SETTINGS and press “ENTER”.
  3. Use the DOWN arrow to highlight TINT and use the LEFT or RIGHT arrows. to adjust it.

Why does yellow look green on my TV?

Because your television display colours in different subpixels, and just your eyes (because they cannot see as such high resolution (of subpixels) will mix the different colours (as sum of all light), so you have additive colour mixing. So green is often better then yellow.

How To Fix a Monitor With Yellow Tint Screen Problem Windows 10 / 8 / 7

Yellows look more greenish on my LG TV.

This issue is kind of hard to explain but I’ll try my best.

I have a 43UN71006lb LG TV that I purchased last year. While it’s not the greatest 4K tv in the world it does the job. The only problem I’m having with it is yellows appear more “greenish yellow”The only way I can get yellows to look how they should is if I turn down the contrast but this darkens the screen too much. The issue is only really noticeable with bright yellows like the Simpson’s for example. The strange thing is if I leave a bright yellow screen on the tv for a few minutes, the tv will automatically adjust it from the greenish-yellow to the normal yellow it should be. I’ve gone through all the menus in my tv and turned off anything that auto adjusts the picture but the issue persists.

The issue is present in all picture modes. The ones I use are expert dark room or cinema for TV,and game mode for my PlayStation 5 with the issue being more noticeable in game mode with HDR enabled. If I’m playing a game, light sources like lanterns, fire, the sun at certain times of day etc will have a slight green tint to them.

Ive tried adjusting the red-green tint slider to be more red, but this doesn’t fix the issue. I’ve also tried using different picture modes like warm 1-3 with no luck either(I keep it on warm 2 anyway). I’ve fiddled with white balance a little but I guess you need proper calibration equipment for that stuff?

Ive factory reset the tv multiple times.

I’ve checked connections to external devices.

Used different HDMI ports and cables.

Does anyone have any ideas what I could do to possibly fix this issue or what could be causing it? Thanks in advance.

Even in the eyes of women, the flame of jealousy for this beauty mixed with involuntary admiration - and there was a. Reason to be jealous, because the men did not take their eyes off at all. Probably, if you shoot this performance, it could then be broadcast like an erotic film - and this without a director, without rehearsals.
