Where to buy the Nvidia RTX Ti: UK and US links

Nvidia's new RTX Ti graphics card is now theoretically available, now that we've reached the 2PM UK time (6AM Pacific, 9AM Eastern), 3rd June release date. Obviously, we're all aware of the state of the graphics card market right now, so all we can do is suggest places that might have stock if you happen to check them at the right time. Anyway, our RTX Ti review shows that this card is neck-and-neck with the more expensive RTX , making it a far better option for most people - although the original RTX continues to offer much better value overall. In this article, we'll share the best places in the US and UK to pick up your new RTX Ti.

So why is this card so hotly anticipated? Put simply, it provides around 10 to 15 percent better performance than the RTX while costing less than the RTX - the latter of which is now only really useful if you can make use of its 24GB of VRAM or the weighty heatsink on the Founders Edition. More importantly though, it's another high-end graphics card in a market where these are simply impossible to find, so the prospect of any new stock is still quite tempting if you can afford the high asking price.

All that is to say that this card is expected to go fast, so here's what you need to know - and the web pages you should probably bookmark!

Where can you buy the RTX Ti in the UK?

You can buy the RTX Ti from a range of major US and UK retailers, which we've summarised in a handy table below. Stock is expected to sell out quickly, so do consider checking a second or even third retailer if you aren't able to order from your normal favourite store.

Where can you buy the RTX Ti in the US?

The RTX Ti is available from a wide range of major stores, which we've summarised in a handy table below. Stock is expected to sell out quickly, so do consider checking a second or even third retailer if you aren't able to order from your normal go-to!

How fast is the RTX Ti?

The RTX Ti is generally 10 to 15 per cent faster than the RTX at 4K, with smaller margins at lower resolutions and higher margins in RT titles. From a GTX Ti or earlier you'll often see more than a doubling of frame-rate, although this does change on a per-game basis. For more details, check our RTX Ti review.

The RTX Ti's closest AMD competitors are the flagship RX XT and the much more reasonably priced RX XT, which alongside the RXT serve as the best alternatives to the Ti. Generally, the Ti outperforms the RX XT, with severe advantages for Nvidia in RT titles, but there are some games that the AMD flagship beats the Ti in. It's also worth bearing in mind that the XT is $ cheaper than the Ti, although this is based on MSRPs that haven't reflected the actual market for some time now!

What's the RTX Ti price?

Nvidia's official recommended retail prices for the RTX start at $/£/€ Custom models are likely to cost (significantly) more due to the incredible untapped demand for high-end graphics cards right now, although the makers of those cards will point to the inclusion of factory overclocking to boost performance, more ports, beefier heatsinks or other additions as an explanation for the price.

What are the specs of the RTX Ti?

Despite looking outwardly like the RTX , the RTX Ti much more closely resembles the RTX when you look at the specs. All three cards are based around the GA GPU, with the getting a fully-unlocked version, the Ti a slightly cut down model and the some distance below that.

Are pre-built RTX Ti desktop PCs available in the UK?

There are a range of UK and US retailers with RTX Ti graphics cards available who will build an RTX Ti desktop PC for you. You do pay a premium for the privilege - and your computer won't arrive as early - but this is still a great option for anyone without the time or inclination to build for themselves.

Are pre-built RTX Ti desktop PCs available in the US?

There are a range of American system integrators that can take care of the hard work of building a high-end gaming rig with the RTX Ti and sending it to your door. Here are some of our absolute faves.

Nvidia just announced its new $1, RTX Ti graphics card, and it’s set to release tomorrow, June 3rd. It hasn’t exactly been easy to buy a graphics card as of late, though, and it seems extremely likely that demand for this new card is going to be through the roof. If you’re looking to try to pick one up, you might want to consider Best Buy, which has announced that customers will be able to line up at 81 of its stores for the chance to snag a Founder’s Edition of the card.

Here’s the full list of participating stores, if you want to see if one near you is included. On that website, Best Buy notes that staff at participating stores will hand out tickets for the cards at AM local time, and if customers receive a ticket, they’ll be guaranteed to be able to buy a card at AM local time.

Each customer can only buy one card, however, which should hopefully limit the number of cards that will be bought to be resold by scalpers. They’ll almost certainly still be in very high demand, however — especially because Best Buy is the only store in the US where you can get the Founder’s Edition of the RTX Ti.

If you’re on the fence about whether to get an RTX Ti, check out my colleague Tom Warren’s review. While he found it ideal for p and 4K gaming, he also thought the $1, price was a little too expensive. But if you’re looking for a series card right now, lining up at Best Buy for the RTX Ti on Thursday could be your next best shot to get one.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX Ti offered a tidy upgrade in performance over the RTX , and since it launched in the middle of the inventory shortage fiasco, there may have been some hope that it would find away to avoid the same turmoil the RTX found itself in. Sadly, that’s been far from the case.

The RTX Ti is just about as hard to get as the RTX , and the prices sellers are charging for the card come with a similarly steep markup compared to the price of a Founders Edition model. That said, it hasn’t been quite as over-the-top lately. We’ve seen a number of RTX Ti units available that aren’t getting the same 2X mark-up. You can find a handful of compelling options available from Overclockers and CCL in the UK, so you’ll want to act quick on those. Scan also has a slightly more expensive option. Amazon and Newegg have some pricier models available in the US.

Some of the high prices can making buying a pre-built gaming PC a bit more appealing. Where you’ll see the RTX Ti selling for over $ on Amazon, Micro Center has a full gaming PC available for $, and the extra components it adds on top of the RTX Ti are nothing to sneer at. If you still want to hold out for a better deal, stay tuned here as we’ll continue to update this page with any inventory we find.

Here's where you can buy RTX Ti graphics cards now

Knowing where to buy RTX Ti stock isn't really the problem, it's the prices that some retailers are charging due to demand which means that finding the video card for its MSRP is nearly impossible.

RTX Ti price

This high-end GPU retails with an MSRP of $1, and an RRP of £1, making it one of the more expensive ways to get into 4K gaming, but the sheer force on display (10, CUDA cores and 12GB VRAM) that's of little surprise that there's a steep barrier to entry.

On that subject, given that this card launched on June 3rd , only a few months ago, it's highly unlikely that you'll be able to find it for its release price set by Nvidia, even from the trusted big name retailers. Worth mentioning that some GPU makers have modified the stock cards which can sometimes alter the asking price, too.

Its been over a year since the Nvidia GeForce RTX made its debut, and the $ is as desirable as ever, So much so that finding where to buy the Nvidia GeForce RTX is almost an exercise in futility.

However, our own Tony Polanco manged to get an Nvidia GeForce RTX Ti without waiting months, the more powerful sibling to the GeForce RTX , and you can too if you're willing to follow his lead.

In the meantime, we've a rundown of the core information to give you all the important things you need to know about the Nvidia GeForce RTX

Nvidia GeForce RTX price and restocks

Available now, but very short on stock, the Nvidia GeForce RTX starts at $ The higher-end RTX starts at $1,, while the RTX costs $

That price is notably cheaper than its predecessor, the GeForce RTX , but only at MSRP. Currently, a lot of the GeForce RTX cards that are available to buy are prices well above the recommended retail price .

This lack of GeForce RTX series cards could pave the way for Intel's Arc graphics, starting with its Alchemist graphics cards slated for early As it stands, Intel’s first Alchemist graphics card could battle Nvidia GeForce RTX and potentially steal some of Nvidia's gaming customers. But we'll have to wait and see on that side of things.

We hope this overall graphics card shortage will change as gives way to , but we're not expecting the dire stock situation to change any time soon. Take a look below for any potential GeForce RTX deals that may have popped up.

Nvidia GeForce RTX specs

The Nvidia GeForce RTX packs 30 shader-teraflops (TFLOPS), 58 ray-tracing TFLops and Tensor-TFLOPS. You'll also get 10GB of G6X graphics RAM, which Nvidia says is the fastest you'll find in a GPU.

If that all sounds like a second language to you, know that the RTX promises to deliver twice the performance as the RTX And if you're upgrading from an older card such as the RTX Ti, you can look forward to performance gains as high as five times as what your current card is outputting. The RTX offers consistent 4K gaming at 60 frames per second, similar to the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

The RTX features what Nvidia calls the "world's fastest graphics memory," with GDDR6X VRAM that can perform at a whopping GB/s. There's also new dedicated ray-tracing hardware for even more immersive lighting and shadows in your favorite PC games.

The RTX also introduces a new thermal-optimized design that promises 55% more airflow, 30% more efficiency, and the ability to be up to three times quieter during heating gaming sessions.

Nvidia GeForce RTX performance

Nvidia has claimed the GeForce RTX is up to twice as fast as the GeForce RTX it replaces and how it will stomp the RTX Ti. It's a bold claim indeed.

Nvidia pitted the RTX against the RTX Ti when running Doom Eternal at 4K on Ultra settings. The RTX is some 50 percent faster than the last top-end Nvidia graphics card, delivering frame rates well above fps. And that's likely before a lot of optimization has been done.

Our sibling publication Tom's Hardware put the GeForce RTX to the test and declared that it delivered a "generational leap in performance." And true to its claims, the RTX offers significant gains in performance over the RTX Ti.

"The bottom line, if you don't mind spoilers, is that the RTX FE is 33% faster than the RTX Ti, on average. Or, if you prefer other points of comparison, it's 57% faster than the RTX Super, 69% faster than the RTX FE — heck, it's even 26% faster than the Titan RTX!" Jarred Walton said in his review.

"But there's a catch: We measured all of those 'percent faster' results across our test suite running at 4K ultra settings. The lead narrows if you drop down to p, and it decreases even more at p. It's still 42% faster than a FE at p ultra, but this is very much a card made for higher resolutions."

Suffice to say, the GeForce RT is one impressive graphics card, though you'll need an equally impressive overall PC to get the most out of it.

Nvidia is unveiling its latest flagship gaming GPU today, the GeForce RTX Ti. Based on Nvidia’s latest Ampere architecture, the RTX Ti will succeed the RTX and promises to deliver x more performance over the previous generation RTX Ti. Nvidia is making the RTX Ti available worldwide on June 3rd, priced from $1,

The RTX Ti looks very much like the RTX , with an identical design and ports. The main difference is a jump in power and VRAM. The RTX Ti ships with more VRAM than the RTX , with 12GB of GDDR6X in total. This new GPU is essentially as close as you can get to an RTX on paper, with half the VRAM. The $1, price matches the same pricing Nvidia used for the RTX Ti Founders Edition cards, and it’s $ less than the giant RTX

RTX Ti specs

GPU clusters828068
Boost clockMHzMhzMhz
Memory24GB G6X12GB G6X10GB G6X
Bandwidth GB/s GB/s GB/s

You’re obviously losing out on an extra 12GB of VRAM if you opt for the RTX Ti over the , and what will likely be a small improvement in performance for that $ difference. But the RTX is giant because it has a far bigger cooler, and the RTX Ti has the same hardware design as the RTX That may prompt concerns around how hot the RTX Ti will run, but we’ll have to wait on reviews to find out if it’s really an issue.

Nvidia is also including its cryptocurrency nerf on the RTX Ti, much like new RTX and RTX cards. Nvidia offers a separate Cryptocurrency Mining Processor (CMP) for Ethereum miners instead. These cards include the best performance for mining and efficiency, but they’re not designed to handle games.

Elsewhere, the RTX Ti has the same power requirements as the RTX You’ll need a watt power supply, and the card can draw up to watts of power. That’s the same as the RTX , but the RTX draws less at up to watts. Just like the RTX before it, the Ti also uses Nvidia’s new pin connector. Nvidia will include an adapter that’s compatible with eight-pin cables.

Nvidia is also launching a second GPU next week, the RTX Ti. The $ RTX Ti will be available on June 10th, and is designed to offer x more performance over the previous RTX Super. It will include 8GB of GDDR6X memory.

Both new RTX cards will support all of Nvidia’s ray-tracing, DLSS, and Reflex technologies. More than 50 games now support Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), offering AI-powered performance boosts to games.

While both of Nvidia’s new GPUs will be available this month, actual availability and pricing is obviously going to differ. Everyone has had a hard time getting hold of new RTX series GPUs since their launch last year, and a flagship RTX Ti and more affordable RTX Ti isn’t going to help improve that.

A global chip shortage has pushed GPU prices up, and demand is still incredibly high during ongoing supply constraints. Nvidia has already warned these supply issues will continue throughout , so don’t expect to easily be able to get hold of an RTX Ti or RTX Ti any time soon.

Our Verdict

The Nvidia GeForce RTX Ti is an absolute monster of a graphics card, delivering RTX level gaming performance at a lower price. However, the high starting price may still be a turn off for budget-conscious folks that just want to get some PC gaming in.

  • Excellent performance
  • Beautiful graphics card
  • Same size as RTX
  • Good thermal performance

  • Very expensive
  • Power-hungry

The Nvidia GeForce RTX Ti has come along at a strange time. The typical time frame for a refresh might usually be nine months, about how much time separates it from the non-Ti version of the RTX . And, Nvidia may have its reasons for launching this mid-generation refresh on that schedule. But, the world is in a very unusual place right now. Even the world of GPUs, from either Nvidia or AMD, has been affected.

It’s been incredibly difficult for consumers to get their hands on any of the best graphics cards. That’s because a worldwide silicon shortage has severely limited the available supply. Additionally, potential buyers have had to either deal with store lotteries or pay exorbitant prices to scalpers for the pleasure of owning one. Given Nvidia’s asking price of $1, for a Ti, this is a tough time to try and get one.

Yet, the RTX Ti is a very powerful card, using the RTX as a template and halving the VRAM for a more consumer-oriented card. And, though a 20GB version of the Ti is rumored to be on its way, the current iteration of the card will be able to run just about any game on the market at a 4K resolution at 60 fps. Even in more normal times, it’s not the easiest GPU to recommend. It’s not that much more powerful compared to the RTX but it is much more expensive.

Price and availability

The Nvidia GeForce RTX Ti is available June 3, starting at $1, / £1, / AU$1, Prices for the RTX Ti will probably vary wildly from that minimum price, and third-party versions of the GPU will probably sell for much higher.

Given that the RTX launched in September for just $ (£, about AU$), you’re paying at least twice as much for the RTX Ti. Given that this GPU has just 2GB more VRAM and 17% more CUDA cores, that % price mark-up might be hard to swallow right now.

Although, this graphics card does deliver pretty much the same level of performance as the Nvidia GeForce RTX at $ cheaper (at least going by MSRP), so it might be worth grabbing if you had your eyes on Nvidia’s top-end graphics card.

Chipset and features

Just like the rest of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series, the RTX Ti is built on the Nvidia Ampere architecture, and brings with it the same improvements as the rest of the lineup. There is something new to the table, however.

As with the Nvidia GeForce RTX that launched in March , the Nvidia GeForce RTX Ti has a hardware-based hash rate limiter that should limit the appeal to cryptocurrency miners. We don’t test mining performance at TechRadar, so we can’t speak to how effective this limit actually is. But given that the hash rate limiter on the RTX was accidentally bypassed by Nvidia’s own driver update, we’ll just have to wait and see how well this actually dissuades miners from buying this graphics card in bulk.

Beyond that, the Nvidia GeForce RTX Ti is actually quite a bit beefier than the original RTX , and that largely falls to core count and memory bandwidth.

Because, sure, the Nvidia GeForce RTX Ti does have more VRAM, with 12GB of GDDR6X compared to 10GB of the stuff on the original card, but it’s also on a faster bit memory bus. That means you get GB/s of memory bandwidth on the RTX Ti compared to the RTX ’s GB/s. With faster VRAM, not to mention just morememory, the RTX Ti should be even more adept at 4K gaming in the future.

The RTX Ti is straight up more powerful, as well. The GPU has 10, CUDA cores across 80 compute units, compared to the RTX ’s 8, CUDA cores. That’s a 17% increase in core count, but don’t expect a strict 17% performance increase - more on that later.

You’re also going to get access to Nvidia’s whole suite of software features, and it’s not just limited to gaming.

The one we are still in love with is Nvidia Broadcast, which is ostensibly designed for streamers and content creators, but we find that it is incredibly useful in just day-to-day life. We use it a lot when we’re taking meetings, or even just hanging out with friends in Discord, especially because it filters out most of the New York City street noises outside our street-facing apartment window.

Of course, you also get access to Deep Learning Super Sampling, or DLSS. This tech uses the Tensor cores – the RTX Ti has of those – to upscale a lower resolution to your native resolution. The idea is that DLSS will let you turn on more of the shiny graphics options, so you don’t have to sacrifice image quality just to hit a decent framerate, especially at high resolutions like 4K.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX Ti we reviewed is Nvidia’s Founders Edition, and, well, it looks like the rest of the RTX series Founders Edition cards. The graphics card has an attractive black and gunmetal gray colorway. You’ll aso see Nvidia and RTX Ti branding etched into the metal. That’s not something you’ll notice once you actually have the graphics card in your PC, but it’s a nice touch.

The RTX Ti is the exact same size and weight as the original RTX , which means it’s inches thick and inches long, so it should fit in most cases.

There are two fans on the RTX Ti and just like the RTX and RTX , there’s one on the front and one on the back. This fan configuration pulls air through the front of the card, it’ll go through the card, and go out through a fan on the back of the card, probably shooting the hot air through the top of your case.

It’s an extremely effective method of cooling the RTX Ti, and even with a peak power consumption of W, the RTX Ti peaks at just C. That is a lot higher than the RTX ’s 72C peak temperature, even though that card has the same level of power consumption.

But it’s actually impressive that Nvidia was able to get that close in thermals, considering that it was able to shrink the cooler back down to a dual-slot design, rather than the giant triple-slot RTX Founders Edition.

Finally, Nvidia has of course included the pin power connector. It does mean that you’re probably going to have to use an adapter to power the Nvidia GeForce RTX Ti, but of course, Nvidia has included an adapter in the box.
