Craftsman Impact Driver 19v Review
Craftsman's most convenient impact driver thus far. They have added some much needed and beneficial features to this driver that many builders, DIYer's and the Handyman around town can and will enjoy. I will just jump right ahead and share the goods.
This driver now has a much quicker bit release holder without needing two hands like the previous models. The LED light around the chuck on this tool is so efficient and reliable. The light will stay on 6 seconds after you've release the trigger which is important for double checking your work for errors before moving along. There is also a speed control (variable speed which means trigger activated) feature that many workers will say is beneficial when dealing with projects that just can't handle too much torque and a simple finessing will serve it's purpose just fine or the opposite when you need all the power this tool can muster out especially when one of your jobs require you to drive through cement.
So what else there to like about the Craftsman Impact driver?
The lithium-ion battery gives so much life to this driver that you will sometimes forget that you are running on a cordless impact driver and not one that is corded. What is even better than the long lasting better is that it goes down like a hero and not dwindle down like a dying lamb. When the battery is done It. Is. Done. No drawn out battery dying whimper causing you to be mid-screw in the wall until you get the battery charged back up.
Just don't expect a handy belt clip which is the only flaw I've seen so far. Craftsman, why? Your driver was almost perfect aside from an important flaw that drives convenience to a job site devoted to running up and down ladders or keeping it by your side at all times without having to hold it.
This craftsman c3 works great both ways forward and reverse so that labor ridden job of removing tightly stuck screws will be a walk in the job site as the torque produces the same power each way the screw goes. You are getting (or should be getting) a driver that sinks screws in like a knife slicing into water--slight exaggeration--okay, GREAT exaggeration but you get what I mean. 🙂
- 3-speeds fro better fastening controls
- 3- LED lights that switch off 6 seconds from releasing trigger
- in-lb torque
- 1/4 inch auto-loading chuck for changing bits in a one-handed flash!
- Over-mold grip w/Micro texture for a more ergonomic feel
Q - Can this be used to remove lug nuts?
A - As powerful as this tool may be It just can't handle that type of job and you may want to look into impact wrenches. This tool produces up t0 in-lb torque which equals to about lbs which is not compatible for most lug nut removing.
Q - Is the impact driver brushless?
A - No. It's brushed.
Q - Does this driver come with a battery?
A - If the product you find shows "bare tool" then it will not have a battery or charger. If you want it to include then look for the products that show "kit" or combo in the description or title.
Q - Is the bit holder magnetic?
A - No. However, this tool has a auto-loading quick changing bit feature that should outweigh this missing feature.
Craftsman hardly ever produces low-quality machinery and products and I suspect they will not be changing their game anytime soon. If you purchase this impact drill kit take comfort in knowing a powerful, top quality driver will be delivered to your front door (unless you shop offline but who does that anymore? 😉 )
I do wish this tool came with a belt clip but maybe the one I'm looking at doesn't and some are sold with belt clips. I'm not too much help on that aspect but this tool is a beast and the 3 settings will allow you to bring down the beast and shimmy out some kitten power for the delicate jobs that too much power will hinder. Craftsman V20 Brushless Impact Driver Proves Its Worth for Budget-Minded Users
Hot on the heels of our hammer drill review, the Craftsman V20 Brushless Impact Driver (CMCF) is up for its evaluation. It boasts mid-range Pro-level power, so well see if it rises to the level that Pros expect across the board.
- Made in the USA with global materials in Charlotte, NC
- Lightweight (under 3 lbs with battery)
- Comfortable handle design
- Brushless motor
- 3 LED surrounding the collet
- Performance lags behind its closest competition
Craftsman CMCF Impact Driver Performance
Impact drivers do most of their work driving screws and thats where the speed and impact rate come into play. At RPM and IPM, its in the range that we expect our Pro models to live in, though it is short of what premium models have. Its very close to what Ryobis HP brushless model has.
That said, theres enough driving speed here that you shouldnt feel slighted in the least. Itll handle everything from drywall screws to deck screws easily and quickly.
When you want to go beyond a basic 3-inch screw to something like a timber screw or RSS screw, youll need more torque. We prefer to keep our 18V/20V Max models over in-lbs, and Craftsman gives you to work with.
Arguably, you should move up to an impact wrench if youre doing a lot of work with longer, thicker fasteners, but this will work for occasional use on them. Realistically, youll want to stick with 1/4-inch screws or thinner. You might get away with a 3/8-inch lag, but youll be pushing it.
Craftsman V20 Brushless Impact Driver Key Features
3-Speed Brushless Motor
The overall feature set isnt the deepest weve ever seen, but Craftsman does a good job with what they include. Having a brushless motor has its benefits.
Going with three speed settings isnt groundbreaking. However, Craftsman puts its switch above the battery. Normally, youll see electronic push-button control down there or a mechanical switch above the motor. What I like about this design is that theres an obvious click when you move from one mode to the next and it seems less likely to fail over time than some of the blister buttons models that are susceptible to cracking in extremely cold conditions.
One-Hand Bit Insertion
Craftsmans 1/4-inch collet is a one-hand effort, letting you slide the bit in without having to pull the collet out to receive it. You also get a spring-loaded ejection. Those are a couple of little things that make it just a bit more convenient to use.
Finally, the Craftsman V20 Brushless Impact Driver uses a three-LED configuration that surrounds the chuck. I love this style for eliminating shadows and getting a lot of light on the fastener.
- Reversible belt hook
- Forward/lock/reverse rocker switch
Craftsman V20 Brushless Impact Driver Ergonomics
Like the hammer drill, Craftsmans brushless impact driver shares a DeWalt-esque handle design that contours to your hand well. The slide pack battery style gives it more flexibility there. Textured rubber overmold helps secure your grip and offers better comfort.
Without the battery, the driver weighs pounds. The compact Ah battery adds just 13 ounces to make it ready to work at pounds. Keeping it under 3 pounds with a battery is a win in my book.
Craftsman V20 Brushless Impact Driver Price
The Craftsman V20 Brushless Impact Driver sits between Pro and DIY/homeowner models with a kit price of $ with two Ah batteries and a bare tool price at $99 at Lowes.
That pricing matches up well on the Prosumer/entry-level Pro side as a bare tool and as a kit.
The Bottom Line
The Craftsman V20 Brushless Impact Driver suits the needs of DIYers, Prosumers, and Pros with solid specs and an ergonomically excellent design. There are some luxury features missing that youll find on premium (and much higher priced) models, but we really like the overall design.
The biggest challenge for Craftsman is going to be setting itself apart enough in performance and price to compete with newer models targetting the same users.

My friends called me a complete fool. In general, I decided to tell my husband about everything. I found a moment and told everything to be clear. I expected a stormy scene, screams and screams, but everything turned out differently. The husband became thoughtful and suddenly asked: - And you yourself decided what.Craftsman Impact/Drill V20 Combo Tool Review - Great Torque
Meanwhile, her husband continued to fuck her in the ass. Even my husband fucks me like a whore. - Alena thought and felt the warmth of the upcoming orgasm spread throughout her body. At that moment, the man groaned and with renewed vigor, driving his trunk into Alena began to spray portions of hot sperm.

Silently, with his lips alone, he asked: - Is it time. And I nodded in agreement. Alex grunted, twisted and, sitting down in bed, asked in a sleepy voice: - What's going on. Why are you screaming like crazy.
