I test drove many vans and SUVs before finally settling on the Chrysler Town and Country LXI. I love how comfortable the seats are, the amount of storage, and the trim package.

We've gone on many family trips since buying our van. We've been to St Louis and Indianapolis multiple times as well as places a bit closer to home to camp and enjoy family time.

I love the dual sliding doors, leather seats, and especially the special tray in the trunk area that allows for total use of the back end when packing it full of groceries or other items. The seats are easy to remove to make more space and open the back end of the van up for room for larger items. I also love the controls in the steering wheel for cruise control and radio controls. It is about to roll 200,000 miles and is still going strong!

I would love to see more modern amenities in my next vehicle, such as satellite radio, GPS, DVD players, etc., But I have been more than happy with what we had for a van of that particular model year. We have had issues with the air conditioner, brakes, and a check engine light being on thanks to an O2 sensor, but any vehicle will have issues when it's over ten years old and has so many miles!

This car has excellent space, and for it's year had good features. Of course, they are outdated now, but for its time it was a good car. The storage capacity is excellent, the fuel efficiency is decent for a mini van (23) and the passenger comfort is quite good. All our family prefers to ride in this car on long trips. One bad thing is that the undercarriage is rusted rather badly. I don't think it should be this rusty at this age, but we do live in the land of salt and snow.
