Dua for studying for exams
Seeking knowledge is one of the many ways for us to be close to Allah s.w.t. Understanding the world around us and appreciating Allah’s creations would increase our gratefulness to Him and instil in us a greater sense of humility. To know more about why and what kind of knowledge is important, click here.
In the journey of seeking and acquiring knowledge, however, we may face difficulties and challenges. Common obstacles like mental blocks, depleting passion or even countless distractions might hinder us from continuing the learning journey. Therefore, we should seek help from Allah s.w.t, together with having the right intention in hopes to achieve consistency in our efforts. To know more about the tips in seeking knowledge, click here.
A 17th-century scholar from Yemen, Imam Abdullah Alwi Al-Haddad, compiled a set of beautiful intentions to study that can help to recenter ourselves as we recite it with reflection:
I intend to learn and teach, to remind myself and remind others, to bring benefit to myself and others, to hold firmly to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of Rasulullah s.a.w, and to call towards guidance and virtue, while seeking the countenance, pleasure, nearness and the reward of Allah.

11 Duas and Supplications for Exams and Deadlines
It is that time of year again: we are all feeling the burn and pressure, those of us at school, in college, or at university. We know the strain of the ongoing pressures, sleepless nights, pressurised thought environments, library all-nighters, and memorising on your bed with enough snacks to last you a few days while buried in your study cave. It is an intense process, and not without great challenges to your physical and mental health.
Meditation grows your brain capacity
New studies suggest we can grow our own level of happiness through practices like meditation. Scientists at Kyoto University conducted an experiment, which lead to them finding an area of the brain called the precuneus, which was larger in people who were happier. Previous studies have proven that regular meditation increases grey matter in the precuneus. Dr Sato mentions, “Our results suggest that psychological training that effectively increases grey matter and volume in the precuneus may enhance subjective happiness. The study suggested contentment and happiness can be worked like a muscle. As Muslims we are given a number of great remedies to reduce stress:
- Recitation of the Quran
- Reciting or listening to the Quran not only does it decrease stress levels, soften the heart, increase contentedness and bring you into the present, but it can also help remedy bad memory. Just by reading it and learning it, you are increasing your memory capacity.

1)Define Your purpose for studying
Passing or getting good marks is not success. Success is what you achieve with the Knowledge. Our purpose of Studying Should be to acquire Knowledge so that We can benefit ourselves and Others from Our Knowledge.
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge which does not benefit, from a heart that does not entertain the fear (of Allah), from a soul that is not satisfied and the supplication that is not answered.”
In a hadith recorded in Saheeh Muslim, Zaid bin Alqam
2)Prepare for your Task
Every time I sat to Prepare my lesson, I asked refuge from shaitan and started my Study in the Name of Allah.
Dua before studying:
Auzubillahi Minash Shaitan ir Rajeem.
Bismillah ir Rahman ir Rahim.
English translation: I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
3)Make a Timetable
Outline your Plan. You need to know how will you accomplish your target. Define your hours of Studying, Subjects and Chapters and do not make this Timetable unrealistic.Analyze your Potential and Work on It. I was very poor at following my timetable but One thing I stuck at was completing the task of that day. I studied Physics at the time of chemistry and biology at the time of maths, and was not harsh at myself. I studied for myself and gave myself a thumbs up for every mission I accomplished.

Best Time and Place to Study :Tips
Khatib Al-Baghdadi (rahimahullah) has mentioned the following in his book: “Al-Faqih wal-Mutafaqqih” “The best time for memorizing is the time of sehri (early dawn), thereafter the time of mid-day. The mornings are better for memorizing than the evenings, and on the whole the night is better than the day.”He further states: “And the best of places for memorizing are those rooms which are above ground level and all such places where there are no distractions. It is better that one abstains from places of greenery, riverbanks and the roadside because such places naturally distract the mind.

For example, file history exam notes in purple, English exam notes in orange and maths exam notes in yellow. Then place them all into one ring-binder folder, to easily locate your notes in record-breaking speed when revising before the exam.
Besides making dua for success in the exam, you need to work hard. Hard Work is not studying for 24 hours. Quality wins Over Quality. Read 3 hours a day but use that 3 hours to full. Sleep Well to increase the ability to concentrate.
We all know how important sleep is, don’t we? Even if you’ve managed to pull some successful study all-nighters before, do not rely on them. Without at least seven hours a sleep a night, your brain doesn’t function to its full capacity.
Poor sleep adds to your stress levels along with decreasing your ability to concentrate.
Avoid this unnecessary stress and last-minute panic and re-charge your brain like you would a set of batteries the night before your big test.
Take Deep breath
It’s only an exam after all. Give it your best and realize no matter what the outcome of the exam is, it’s not the end of the world. Remember, at the end of the day your health is much more important than any exam grade.

Importance of Knowledge & Charachter of Student in the Traditions of AHLULBAYT (as)
Imam Sadiq (as) said, "Your teacher has the right over you that you should honor him and pay him respect in different assemblies. You should be very attentive to his words. you should not raise your voice above his. if anybody asks him a question, you should not give its reply. You should not converse with others in his presence and you should allow the people to benefit from his knowledge. You should not speak ill of anyone before him. If anybody speaks ill of him in your presence, you should defend him. You should conceal his shortcomings and bring his virtues to light. You should not associate with his enemies and should not dispute with his friends. If you act on these lines the angels of Allah will testify that you have paid attention to him and have acquired knowledge for the sake of Allah and not to attract the attention of the people.
And the right of your pupils on you is that you should realize that in granting you knowledge and opening its path to you, Allah has appointed you to be their guardian. In case, therefore, you teach them properly and do not frighten them and are not furious with them, Allah will, through His kindness, increase your knowledge. But if you drive the people away from knowledge and, as and when they approach you for it, you frighten them and get annoyed with them, it will only be appropriate that the Almighty Allah may take away the light of knowledge from you and may degrade you in the eyes of the people."
The Messenger of God said:"A loving glance at the face of a learned [`alim] is an act of worship [ibada]."He also said:"Sitting with the people of learning is an honor in this life and the hereafter."
On the authority of Abu 'Abd Allah, it is reported that the Messenger of God said:"A man will come on the day of resurrection. To his credit will be so many good deeds that they will be heaps, or towering mountains. He will ask: 'O my Lord! All this for me-and what have I done for them?' God will say: 'This is the knowledge you taught to people, and they kept on acting on it after you."
Abu Ja'far said,"Whoever taught the path to guidance will have as much reward as those who acted upon it, without in any way decreasing the reward of the latter. Whoever taught the path to wrongdoing will have as much punishment as those who acted upon such teachings without in any way decreasing the punishment of the latter."
The Holy Prophet [s] said: "Teachers and students both share in rewards but other people are deprived of them." Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 2, p. 25
The Holy Prophet [s] said: "He who propagates religious affairs without having required competency does a disservice to the religion rather than serving it."Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 2, p
Imam Amir ul Mu'mineen Ali [a] said: "The worth of every man is in his attainments."Nahjul-Balagha, saying No.
Note: The real value of a person is his knowledge (and the perfection of his attainments). His worth and position would be in accordance with the status of knowledge and attainment he holds. Eyes that are conscious of real values do not look at the face, features, tallness of stature, size or worldly pomp and position but look at the attainments of a person and assess his worth according to these attainments. The conclusion is that a man should strive to acquire distinction and knowledge.
The worth of every person is according to the extent of his knowledge.Ghurar-ul-Hikam, p.

Sometimes her tongue went a little into his anus. With her hand she gently stroked his cock.
