Event Headlined by POWRi Super Stock Nationals Rescheduled for November 5-6
September 30, 2021
--- Due to all of the current rain (already over 1" at the track) and the continuous forecasted rain for the remainder of the October 1-2 weekend, we are forced to reschedule the Blue Moon Madness weekend and the #POWRiSuperStockNationals until November 5th & 6th. This event will still be ran topless for all POWRi Super Stocks. Since POWRi points will be completed by this date, we will add a 25th provisional starting position for the highest POWRi points driver who does not make the race through qualifying. Stay tuned for event schedule and start times!

July 31, 2021
--- A thunderstorm just before the feature was set to roll, forced COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil and Legit Speedway Park staff to postpone the balance of Saturday night’s Larry Phillips Memorial program. Via prelim action, current Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man, Logan Martin earned the Pole Award with Kyle Beard starting alongside, but heavy rain and a power outage prevented the feature from being run. Track and series officials are looking for a possible reschedule date.

Thirty-five entries entered the $5,075-to-win affair with Jesse Stovall topping Mark Martin Automotive qualifying, while Logan Martin, Terry Phillips, Kyle Beard, and Scott Crigler each won heat races. B-Main action was topped by Kaeden Cornell and Steve Stultz. Everyone hold on to your armbands and tickets. The make-up date for tonight’s features will be posted as soon as we get arrangements made for the reschedule! Please stay tuned for that date!

June 5, 2021
--- Five previous wins in ASCS Regional competition over his career, Saturday marked a first for Marshall Skinner at Legit Speedway Park, as the wily veteran rolled into Victory Lane with not one but two ASCS Regions. Assuming the lead on the restart, Marshall held point the rest of the A-Feature.

Kyle Bellm followed from ninth to complete the podium. Chase Porter from 13th made it to fourth, with Landon Britt fifth after starting 11th. Cody Gardner was sixth, followed by Gunner Ramey from 14th. Timothy Smith followed with Derek Hagar, able to fight back to a ninth-place finish. Earnie Ainsworth completed the top ten. | more

Crigler, Lloyd, Romans, Russell, and Tackitt Also Win at the West Plains Oval
April 3, 2021
--- A mere 0.029 seconds, that was the margin of victory for Mississippi’s Brian Rickman in Saturday night’s COMP Cams Super Dirt Series presented by Lucas Oil feature at Legit Speedway Park. Rickman overcame a spirited battle with Pole Sitter, Hunter Rasdon to score the $3,000 victory, which marked the fourth CCSDS victory of his career and his first since 2018.

For the second-straight night Rasdon was the Mark Martin Automotive Fast Qualifier, and he backed up his qualifying lap with a heat race win to earn the pole for the 40-lap finale. Rasdon jumped to the lead at the outset of the feature at the 3/8-mile oval with fellow front-row-starter, Billy Moyer Jr., and third-starting Brian Rickman in tow. Rasdon paced the first half of the race with Rickman moving into second on lap 14 as Moyer Jr. slipped to third.

Rickman began making up ground on the leader and overtook Rasdon for the lead on lap 29 only to see Rasdon inch back ahead on the 32nd circuit. The Jonesboro, Arkansas competitor maintained a narrow advantage at the front of the field over the next few laps before Rickman made a last-lap move to take both the lead and the win by less than three hundredths of a second. Rasdon, Moyer Jr., Billy Moyer, and Kyle Beard (started 15th) rounded out the Top-5 finishers. | more

Indigo Sky Casino is located in Oklahoma on the border across from Seneca, Missouri.  The Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma opened the new $85 million Indigo Sky Casino with a grand opening November 8, 2012.  It replaces the tribe’s older casino, the Bordertown Casino & Bingo, which operated since 1987.  The Bordertown Casino was closed on the same day.

The Indigo Sky Casino features a larger gaming floor, a 117-room hotel, an RV park, and new restaurants.  It is located in western Ottawa County on Hwy. 60 west of Seneca, Mo. and a few miles up Hwy. 60 from the old location.

In 2016 an expansion project was underway to add 127 hotel rooms, expand the size of the Shawanoe Restaurant, and to add 8,500 sq-ft of meeting/banquet space. The new 127-room hotel tower opened in September 2017.
