We visited this place yesterday to celebrate my daughter's birthday. (St Pete location )
We were impressed with our hibachi chef ! He was funny and made a good show for us !
Everyone was so attentive ,from arrival till we left. To many names to mention but I just want to say that you all were wonderful.
Food was delicious. They sang Happy birthday to my daughter with drums and a cupcake.
It was a fun night .
Thanks everyone for everything.
We'll sure come back soon !!I love the hibachi concept so I was very excited to try this place because of the reviews!
Pros- large menu selection including duo choices. I got scallops and shrimp. Large portions so you'll definitely have leftovers. The soup and salad were excellent. The sushi roll I ordered was very good as well. Friendly staff. Very clean interior.
Cons- food was too greasy and salty. I saw the chef put a ton of oil and butter on the meats and seafood. Large portions of rice and noodles but I also wish we had bigger vegetables and meat portions to even it out. The chef wasn't as interactive as other hibachi places I've been to. He didn't do that many tricks. All very basic, not much of a show.
Overall, I wasn't disappointed. Is it authentic Japanese food? No. But it's a good concept and plenty of food leftover to bring home for another meal. It would be fun to come here with a large group I was friends with vs. Strangers for sureThe food was absolutely delicious. The problem was that 5 out of 7 of us ended up getting sick. I contacted the restaurant the next day to talk to someone but could not get through. Eventually got through the prompts and had a text sent to me that said "How can we help you?". I typed that 5 out of 7 people got sick from your restaurant yesterday. Got a text back saying "Please do not reply to this text". I texted back anyway the next day but same text back.
Not sure of the point in the system but it seems that there are some cracks in the customer experience aspect of management. My only complaint is that it was kind of loud and made it hard converse with our family. Otherwise, we had a great time. My husband loved getting to experience this style dining for the first time. The chef was wonderful and comedic. Portions are crazy big but I do love that you sort of get it a little at a time. You can fit 10 people at a station which was perfect for our family (plus child). The staff was great. The food was delicious. I loved it all.
So let's first start off with their fun fish. I loved looking at them. So cool. Also, they brought out an appetizer for me fast. That was my meal and I loved it. The fire was a little scary and it was kinda hard for me to pay attention to even though they put me at the corner of the table. It was nice to have a high chair just for me. Overall, probably a place for the big kids and not much for me. But I'm glad my parents took me. - #BryYelps 22 months oldWe had the best hibachi experience here at this Kobe location lastnight! My family came in for my son's 6th birthday and we received the best service and delicious food from SoSo and Andy! SoSo was very attentive and made sure that my two kids were having a great time. That is so important to us! We haven't received personable service like this in a very long time and it was refreshing and completely made our night. Andy was a great chef and very fun to watch! Coming from up north and having had a different chain of hibachi restaurants to frequent, we can say that this one exceeds them all and we will be returning customers!
Only thing I could think of that I hope they can mediate is the seating is very squished together. If they would just take one chair out and let the customers be a little more spread out it would be a more comfortable experience, especially with our trying times right now.
Still, looking forward to our next visit!Kobe is pretty much what you make out of it. If you're not leaning in and playing along it's probably pretty pointless.
This was my first experience at a Kobe in over 10 years. Here is what I liked.
1. I made my reservation for 10 people ONLINE. Didn't have to talk to anyone
2. In 10 years they haven't changed a thing about the food, you still get the same large portions and onion volcano.
3. What they have changed is the design - this location is pretty gorgeous!
4. None of the reasons I don't like it are deal breakers.
Here is what I didn't really like.
1. Our service was YIKES. The gal didn't keep waters filled, we couldn't hear her, she couldn't hear us. She forgot to inform the chef about a shellfish allergy at the tablewhich then resulted in my father's steak having to be prepared in the back and didn't get presented to him until everyone was basically done. And finally she made a couple mistakes with the bills. Was she new? Were we annoying? I don't know but it was definitely a struggle.
2. It's really loud. And the tables are pretty close to one another so when you're getting your "show" you miss some ~jokes~ hearing the other table's ~show~
3. The ginger dressing is lame as heck.I used to love to go to this kind of restaurant
There was a really good Kobe in
Nashville tn
But the only guality has really gone down
You get about 7 shrimp
A bunch of rice
Some kind of noodles
Veggies
You used to get a soup and salad
But I mean who can eat all of the rice and noodles
It's really just filler
To make it look like you got a lot
ByeRice Noodles And a few shrimp lol Zucchini and spring roll was extra Bye
Good atmosphere! Great food and amazing nigiri! The salmon nigiri was so fresh and they gave such a generous size of salmon our hibachi chef was hilarious and they gave my Fiance a cupcake and drum song for his birthday!

I've always loved cooking. When I was 6-years old I wanted to cook. When my mom said that she was just running to the neighbor's and would be right back, I climbed onto the kitchen counter and found Lipton Instant French Onion Soup Mix. By the time my mom returned, I was stirring the pot on the stove, and proclaimed; "Look Mom! I'm cooking!"
In High School, I took three different cooking classes and got an A in each. After getting my first apartment, I used to cook 5-nights a week, and go out two nights. An old girlfriend from decades ago had a brother-in-law that was a CEO of a trucking company, and he used to entertain in Manhattan quite a bit and he started taking us along.
This was when I learned about gourmet food and fine wine. For a couple of years, Lori and I went out about nights a week, but now we have a better balance of 50/50 between cooking at home, and going out to the amazing restaurants we are so lucky to have in our beloved Downtown St. Petersburg.

Well, did you like showing your charms to unfamiliar men. Do you like to show them your shameless milking and think how they dream of driving their fat dick between them and cum in. Your slutty lustful mouth. How do they dream of fucking such a seductive and even pregnant bitch like you.
