I like Food Depot for particular meats others dont have like lamb steaks, which are an acquired taste for me. I dont like the weird surcharge at check out, but I am sure that Food Depot has it's own business model.

They need more cashiers and a little makeover. Store is a little dated, not as pretty as Krogers or Publix, but It's ok for quick stop shopping.

I love this store it's only 10 minutes out. Its comparably priced. I like the staff. Its hardly super busy. There's always enough lines open. I really like this store.

Established in , Nam Hung Supermarket and Southern Bay Seafood, Inc. has steadily grown to become one of the premier Asian food importers/distributors in the DFW area. The additional storage space and new business allows us to have more buying power, therefore passing on the savings to our customers.

ALWAYS watch the cashiers they are incompetent I was charged $ for steak I did not buy just an hour ago. ALWAYS watch them they fail every time I coke in here I have to do their job.

WellI personally didn't shop here. I was helping out a friend. She needed a few things. Simple in and out. The staff was kind and friendly to us both. I had no issues. If you have a food depot near you..go for it!

Not the best place to work at

Food Depot doesn't care about their employees. They hire just about anyone and promote those who don't deserve it. High end managers are rude. Customers are great. It's management who can't get their acts straight. Scandalous job.Overnight Stocker in Calhoun, GA
It was horrible when I was there
It was by far the worst job I have ever had. I was making $8 an hour. The management doesn’t understand that you have other things besides work. My schedule was 9pm - 5 am and most days I had to stay over until 11 am. Once I started leaving at 5 and telling them that was my scheduled time to leave they scheduled us from 10pm - meaning we could leave when everything was done. The only problem with that was they kept giving us more things to do and there were only 5 of us on night shift. There were about 18 people on 1st and 2nd and every night they were just standing up at register one talking not getting any work done.See all reviews
