Be Smart, Check in Advance. CARFAX — Your Vehicle History.

CARFAX — Your Vehicle History Expert

Sometimes what you don't know can't hurt you, but that's not the case when buying a used car. As an independent vehicle history provider, at CARFAX we've made it our mission to tell you everything you need to know by uncovering as many events as possible from the previous life of a used car. Our primary goal is to help you get to know your next car from the inside out before deciding to make an investment that will be part of you and your family's everyday life. We believe your next car shouldn't be hiding anything from you.

CARFAX Vehicle History Reports contain over 28 billion historical records from 20 European countries, the US and Canada, which are updated daily with new information.

Even if you live in a country we don't collect vehicle data from, it's still always worth checking the Vehicle Identification Number without obligation. The used car import and export market is booming and many owners would be surprised to find out exactly what happened to their vehicle during its previous life abroad.

Privacy for Customers — Transparency over Vehicles

Let's be clear: Although we strive to find every detail of a vehicle's life so far, we are focused only on the vehicle's history, and do not collect any information on previous owners. The information we provide relates solely to the vehicle, its odometer reading, any accidents that have been covered up, where the vehicle comes from and much more — it never gets personal. We've uncovered irreparable damage several times in the past, but other times our vehicle history checks draw a blank — and sometimes that's actually a good thing.

Second Hand — Not Second Best

Did you know that considerably more used cars are sold than new cars? We think this second-hand system is nothing short of fantastic. However, it goes without saying that it gives rise to different methods and tactics: Some sellers will disguise a car that's been in an accident under a fresh coat of paint, tamper with the odometer or conceal theft. This is one of the less appealing aspects of buying second hand. Our goal is to establish trusting relationships between buyers and sellers, since this is the best way to help customers make the right decision. Your new car should be reliable and make you feel safe, as well as make you feel like you haven't paid too much.

But more than anything else, we don't want you or your family unknowingly sitting behind the wheel of a vehicle that isn't 100% safe. This is why we strive to take these vehicles off the road, which not only makes the used car market safer but our streets safer too.

CARFAX — 35+ Years of Experience in Vehicle Histories

CARFAX was founded in the US in 1984 and expanded into Europe in 2007. Around 100 team members spread across six European offices process vehicle information from 22 countries.

Fostering strategic partnerships with registration authorities, law enforcement agencies, government departments, insurance companies, inspection centers and numerous other leading companies around the world has enabled us to compile a unique international database for vehicle histories. We use this database to help make the used car market more transparent. We give everyone in the process of buying a used car access to what is currently the world's most comprehensive source for vehicle history reports, and is growing day by day.

We remain neutral and independent despite our partnerships — our sole purpose is help customers make an informed choice and ensure their safety and the safety of their family. This includes never collecting any personal details — we do not accept any PII from data sources amongst the information we provide about a vehicle. We ensure that data protection laws are observed at all times. Furthermore, we always collect our data in compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks — in all the countries in which we are active. We expressly distance ourselves from illegal activities such as data theft, scraping and hacking.

As a brand, GMC has always lived in the shadows of Chevrolet. But in recent years, GM has begun to try to create some distinction between the sister brands, with Chevrolet's trucks catering, not surprisingly, to mainstream truck buyers while GMC's products are designated "professional grade" with distinct qualities specifically answering the needs of buyers that use their trucks as modern day field oxen.

Or at least that's what GM would have you believe. The reality, however, is that, save GMC's low-volume Denali luxury variants (right), Chevrolet offers better exposed, better marketed, mechanically identical products in pretty much every segment where GMC competes, rendering the so-called "professional grade" brand the veritable Jan Brady of the truck market, always vying with big sister Chevrolet for attention.

Little of that condition stands to change with the launch of GM's all-new 2007 full-size trucks, offered by both GMC and Chevrolet with little besides unique sheetmetal distinguishing them. Both are outstanding trucks and truthfully, we could have written about them together.

Sierra vs. Silverado: a sheetmetal story

The GMC Sierra's design has a rectilinear, square-jawed front end, which accentuates the prominent grille, broad-shouldered stance and gives the Silverado a powerful and muscular presence. Next to the Silverado, the Sierra's entire front-end, wide hood, bumpers, front and rear fenders, lamps, cargo box, and tailgate are unique. Common to both trucks, however, are other interesting features such as power rear windows on the extended cab models that drop down into the rear doors, both of which now are double-jointed so as to open to an angle of 170 degrees.

Mechanical bits

In the beginning, the Sierra mirrors the Silverado's offering of three cab styles, three bed lengths, rear- or four-wheel drive and no fewer than seven engines. At the low end is a 4.3-liter V-6 rated at 195-hp and 260 lb-ft, but a vast majority will be powered by one of six V-8s, starting with an iron-block 4.8-liter with 295-hp and 305-lb-ft. Next up are four 5.3-liters, offered with either iron or aluminum blocks and in both gasoline and flex-fuel flavors. GM claims that eventually, all 5.3s will be made with aluminum blocks, but for now, production capacity for the aluminum block dictates that the iron horse stick around. All four variants put out 315 horsepower and 338 lb-ft of torque. At the top of the regular (ie: non-Denali) Sierra range is a 6.0-liter V-8 with 367-hp and 375-lb-ft, which, like the 5.3-liter, features Active Fuel Management to save gas. Come early 2007, the Sierra will be offered in decked-out Denali trim, with the 6.2-liter, 400-hp, 415-lb-ft V-8 from the Cadillac Escalade. At that point, GMC will have the upper hand on Chevy for a change, but rest assured that Chevy won't take long to launch a performance-oriented Silverado SS model with the same guts. Still, the Denali will always maintain a luxury bent that Chevrolet likely will never match.

So how do these translate into capability? Payload capacities range from roughly 1600 to 2160 pounds, with trailering capability from 4300 to a whopping 10,500 pounds. By spring 2007, each of the heavy duty versions (right) will be on the market with even more impressive numbers, but for now, that should offer plenty of capability for anything that must still be able to fit in a single parking spot at the mall. Equally impressive are the fuel economy numbers, which top 20 mpg on the highway for all but the 6.0-liter (Denali fuel economy figures are TBA).

Just as important to truck buyers is the frame, which is now fully boxed with hydroformed front sections and additional cross-members. StabiliTrak is now standard on crew cab models and available on extended cab models. Another safety addition is head curtain air bags on crew cabs.

Two Distinct Interiors

If you've been in a 2007 GM full-size SUV, such as the Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon, which features a slick, low-rise dash and wood-grain-trimmed center console between its bucket seats, you've been in at least one of the Sierra's interior choices. The other interior features a more horizontal dash and three-across bench seat, as well as more tunneled, retro-look gauges and a two-story glovebox. Both offer an excellent seating position that makes it hard to be uncomfortable with plenty of space for your 10-gallon hat. Crew cab models feature a huge back seat, while the extended cab's rear bench is acceptable for most adults, so long as it's not a cross-country trip. One nifty feature is the way the rear benches on both models flip up into the cab wall with one hand to expand one's cargo-carrying options.

The Sierra offers the usual options such as leather seating surfaces, upgraded stereos, as well as some less-common items such as power-opening backlight glass, a power sunroof, heated washer fluid system, a touch-screen navigation system and rain-sensing windshield wipers. OnStar is standard with a one-year subscription included.

Driving impressions

After being relatively impressed with the transformation of GM's full-size SUVs, we had high expectations of the pickups with which they share so much. They didn't disappoint. Though we tested only V-8 models, we found all to be smooth and quiet on the highway. Not surprisingly, acceleration was particularly impressive with the top-grade 6.0-liter V-8. However, perhaps we've gotten spoiled in recent years, but we remember the day when 295 to 315 horsepower—as found in the 4.8 and 5.3-liter V-8s, respectively—would yield much more excitement.

GM went to the unusual length to take us to its proving grounds and let us drive the trucks with the entire competitive set (save the unreleased-at-the-time 2007 Toyota Tundra) on a closed course. We found that GM's new babies matched the previous segment-best Nissan in steering precision, transitional grace and engine smoothness. Indeed, both on the road and on the course, the GM trucks garnered unanimous praise. We found body motions to be well controlled, at least as well as can be expected of a big truck, and at no time did we notice any annoying front-end porpoising or on-road rear-end hop—a common problem, especially with an unloaded bed—at highway speeds. The solid structure contributed to a vibration-free atmosphere, while stable, responsive brakes matched the rest of the vehicle's overall solid dynamic character.

Even the price is nearly the same

Dozens of cab/bed/drivetrain/trim level combinations are available, with prices strarting around $20K for the base, regular-cab "work truck". Extended cab models start at $23,605 and rise into the $30K range quickly if you go heavy on the options. Crew cab models are over three grand more at $27,000, and four-wheel drive adds a whopping three grand or so for most models. The range-topping Crew Cab SLT 4WD starts at $38,640. Prices between equivalent Chevy and GMC models are within $1000 across the board.

Promising Pair

So it appears that GM has a built two trucks—however indistinct—with genuine appeal to pretty much any truck buyer, save the most ardent of Ford-o-philes. They certainly will bear much of the burden of GM's effort to haul the company into the black again. However, just how much of the hauling will be done by Chevrolet and how much will be done by GMC remains to be seen.

GMC Sierra Review - 2007-2014

Thinking about his dick (hes huge), I got down on my knees, and yes I unzipped his pantsand started podrachivat his fuck, but I did not do it for a long time, because obviously I wanted to go to fuck as soon as possible, but there was nothing without foreplay. I began slowly, from the very tip, to lick his dick, it is so huge that I could not put even half.

Of its dignity in my mouth, about how huge, hard, thick it is, what I love, but we all love it. In one hour, he lifted me from his knees and pressed me to the wall, but he kissed me, but like a true whore, everywhere except his lips, and I. Didn't need it either, he bared my chest, slightly nibbling, roughly and tenderly, kissed my nipples.

Vitek began to move, Katka rushed towards, swaying. The member went into her vagina with unprecedented ease, and Vitek accelerated to increase friction. He watched her move intently, looking down.

GMC Sierra Review - 2007-2014

Kravtsov shook his entire household right in front of her face. - Suck a bitch. Sandy wrapped her arm around his awesome weapon. The member was firm, elastic and hot. She opened her mouth and sucked in the thick, glossy head of the penis with her lips.

Falling on his penis, holding his hands tightly, she thought and froze on him. - I don't want to leave. You too.
